Or less

Your ETA-IL will remain valid for up to 2 years or until your current passport expires, whichever comes first.

An ETA-IL allows you to stay in Israel for up to 90 days per trip within a 2-year period.

Cost

$ 17.00 USD

Application fee

Payment method: credit card, bank slip, PayPal. Non-refundable after application.

Your ETA-IL will remain valid for up to 2 years or until your current passport expires – whichever comes first.

If you obtain a new passport or change your name, gender, or country of citizenship, you will be required to apply for a new travel authorization.

What can you do with an ETA-IL?

Enjoy Israel as a tourist

Conduct business

Travel for non-professional and non-medical purposes

You need to

Be a citizen of an eligible country

Have a valid passport (minimum 6 months before expiration)

Have a scheduled trip with a stay shorter than 90 days

You should not apply for an ETA-IL if:

  • You are an Israeli citizen or a citizen of a visa-exempt country for Israel;
  • Your passport is valid for less than 6 months;
  • You plan to visit Israel for more than 90 days;

Even if you obtain an ETA-IL, it does not guarantee that you will be permitted to enter Israel;

The Electronic Travel Authorization only allows you to arrive at the Israeli border, but does not grant you permission to enter or reside in Israel. Upon arrival at the border crossing, you will be screened by a border control officer, who may determine that you are authorized to enter Israel.

Note: Israeli citizens or holders of an Israeli identification number do not need to apply for an ETA-IL.

Step 1: Prepare everything you need

A passport from an eligible country, valid for the duration of your stay. A valid email address. A valid payment method (Visa®, Mastercard®, American Express®, PayPal) for the $17.00 USD fee (you will not be able to get a refund after applying).

Step 2: Apply for ETA-IL

Complete the ETA-IL application form. Ensure that the information provided is accurate.

Pay the $17.00 USD fee.

Submit your application.

Step 3: Await your response

Once your application is complete, we will contact you via the email address you provided.

Most applicants will receive an immediate response. In certain cases, it may take three to five business days. If you do not receive a response, please check your inbox, including your spam/junk folder, or contact us.

Step 4: Receive your result

If your ETA-IL application is approved:

We will send an email with your ETA-IL number, start date, and terms and conditions. Keep a copy of this message with you during your stay in Israel.

If we have additional questions:

We will email you and explain how you can provide the information we need.

If your ETA-IL application is denied:

We will email you the status of your application and advise you to contact our help center for additional information.

*If your ETA-IL is denied, please do not submit new additional applications without contacting us first. A new application will not affect your results.
